Maroko & Shwe, Inc. was originally established by Michael C. Maroko as Michael C. Maroko & Associates in 1961. The firm was incorporated as Maroko & Associates in 1977. James Shwe joined the firm in 1984 and became the managing principal in 1996. The name of the firm was changed to Maroko & Shwe, Inc. in 1998 and Michael C. Maroko retired in 1999. Maroko & Shwe, Inc. specializes in Institutional Projects. The majority of our projects are educational or medical, though we occasionally enjoy working on commercial and industrial projects. We have over 20 years experience with DSA and OSHPD. We do Title-24 energy calculations, HVAC system simulations and life cycle analysis in house.
